National — Interlude Remastered x0.3

Interlude RemasteredOpened: 29.01.2021Running without wipes: 5+ years

National is the hardcore Interlude Remastered server of the Melcosoft Test complex, running without a single wipe since January 29, 2021. It is classic Interlude in its purest form: dynamic rates from x0.5 down to x0.28 (roughly x0.3 on average) that scale down automatically as your grade grows, x1 quests, and a C2–C5-level economy. There is no pay-to-win here — no in-game shop, no profession purchases, no premium accounts, and no starting buffer: every level and every enchant is earned by hand. In November 2025 the server was migrated to the modern Grand Crusade core and client with all player progress preserved — old Interlude bugs were fixed and core performance improved. National is for players who want that old-school MMORPG experience: slow leveling, a living economy, and a server that will not shut down after a month.

Features

No wipes since January 2021

The server opened on 29.01.2021 and has never been reset. Melcosoft Test keeps its servers alive for years — your progress will not burn out after a single season.

Dynamic rates x0.5 → x0.28

EXP/SP, adena, drop and spoil rates scale down automatically as your grade grows: x0.5 at levels 1–20 down to x0.28 from level 76 onward. Quests are a true x1, and the economy difficulty sits at C2–C5 level.

Zero pay-to-win

No in-game shop, no premium accounts, no profession purchases, no shadow weapons. No bonuses for transferring clans — everyone begins on equal footing.

Interlude Remastered on the Grand Crusade core

Classic Interlude mechanics on a modern engine: in November 2025 the server moved to the Grand Crusade client with all characters, items and clans fully preserved, old bugs resolved and performance enhanced.

Thoughtful skill rebalance

Songs and dances last 5 minutes instead of 2, cubics are summoned without D-crystals, summons use Spirit Ore instead of crystals, and bows consume fewer soulshots. The adjustments are precise — the spirit of Interlude remains intact.

Zero-tolerance anti-bot policy

One rule: bans with no exceptions. Honest grinding is the backbone of the x0.3 economy.

Multibox and offline trading

Two game windows are free; seven more can be unlocked for 300 coins, with access tied to your computer rather than your account. You can also keep trading while offline using the .offline command.

Questions & answers

What are the rates on National?

The rates are dynamic and decrease as your grade grows: x0.5 at levels 1–20, x0.45 at 21–40, x0.4 at 41–52, x0.35 at 53–61, x0.3 at 62–75 and x0.28 from level 76 onward. Quest rewards are x1. Overall it is a hardcore economy of roughly x0.3 with C2–C5-level difficulty.

Are there wipes on National?

No. The server has been running without wipes since January 29, 2021, and the Melcosoft Test complex is known for long-lived servers — Airin, for example, has been online since 2016. Even the 2025 migration to the Grand Crusade core kept every character, item and clan intact.

How do I start playing?

Register a master account on the website, download the game via the launcher (the recommended method) or from the Google Drive mirror, and log into the National server. Two game windows run for free. If anything goes wrong, the melcosoft-test.cc support ticket system has you covered.

Is the server free? Is there a donation shop?

The game is completely free, and there are no donations that affect balance: no in-game shop, no profession purchases, no premium accounts. The only paid option is extra game windows — seven windows for 300 coins, tied to your computer. Money never buys character power here.

Is there a buffer or a GM shop?

No starting buffer and no GM shop — every NPC matches the original Interlude chronicles. Buffs come from support classes and gear from drop, spoil and crafting. As a quality-of-life improvement, the remaster extends songs and dances to 5 minutes to make party play more comfortable.
