The group bonus scales with party size: from +30% for two players up to +67% for a full party of eight. No extra EXP multipliers added — pure classic mechanics.
The shop is not the focus
The in-game store only appeared four years after launch (06.03.2021), and a premium account is entirely optional. Progress comes from playing, not spending.

What are the rates on Airin?
All rates are x1: EXP/SP, adena, drop, spoil, quests, raid bosses and epic bosses. Pure hardcore with no server-wide multipliers. The party bonus follows the classic formula — from +30% to +67% depending on group size — and premium account holders receive x2 EXP (excluding raid and epic bosses).
Are there wipes on Airin?
No. The server launched on October 7, 2016 and has run without a single wipe since — it is the longest-running server in the Melcosoft Test complex. Characters, items and enchants are always preserved: everything you earn stays with you for years.
How do I start playing?
Register a master account on the website, then download the client via the launcher (the primary recommended method) or from the Google Drive mirror. Install the game, log in and create your character. For technical issues, use the official support ticket system.
Is the server pay-to-play?
No, the game is entirely free. An optional premium account is available for convenience, and the in-game store was only introduced four years after launch, on 06.03.2021. Progress is defined by gameplay, not spending.
Is there an NPC buffer or a GM shop on Airin?
There is no NPC buffer — that is a core principle of the server: buffs come only from players and their support characters. There is no custom GM shop either: all NPCs match the original Interlude chronicles, and gear is obtained through farming, spoil and crafting.
